Pleasant enough... till 0:37
I thought the other reviewers' criticisms were exaggerated for about the first 40 seconds of this song. It's slight and a bit amateurish, though inoffensive, but the guitar style didn't bother me too much...until 0:37. Yeah--I'm sorry--it sounds like she's trying to saw metal. And the yelling at 1:00 doesn't help much. Then the unpleasantness returns.

A different track probably would have been a better teaser for the album... I'm glad I didn't pay anything for this one.

Lonestar Feels Lonely
Mirah has a stripped-down solo and obviously Western feel in this song, far from her sometimes orchestrated compositions. That doesn't stop the song from overlaying the melody with multiple guitar and vocal tracks and building on them until crescendoing at the end. Recommended for anyone who likes sentimental Folk and Western female balladeers.

Mice squeak less.
I can't get over how obnoxious the changing chords are on the guitar. It takes away from how good this sound could be! Mirah should really consider re-recording it! Sorry, I'm not downloading it, the preview was enough ear torture for me.

Replacement for Chinese water torture.
This song could be used as a torture device to get terrorists to give up their secrets.
The screeching guitar strings were absolutly painful.

They will need to pay people to download this one.

Wow! That sucks!
Poor excuse for a song, and poor excuse for a recording. My 6-year-old can do better.
