Praan is an Amazing Song with a Great Singer
This song, by Garry Schyman, was commissioned by Matt Harding of "Where in the Hell is Matt" fame on YouTube. The singer is 17 year old Palbasha Siddique of Minneapolis, MN. She has been signing for years, and her hard work shows.
This is an incredbily moving song, even if you do not speak Bengali.
We need more Garry Schyman, more Matt, and especially, more Palbasha. She received no royalties for this song, but hopefully someone who recognizes pure talent will cut her a deal and let her make millions! She deserves it for the joy she brings to anyone who listens to this song.
Strongly recommended - buy this song - it will make your life better! (oh- and if you haven't - watch the video).

Epic!
Every single beat of each track is arranged with such care and passion that you can't help being touched by this song. Really worth it!
I wish they also had a high-fidelity version of the song as it is in the clip (with the overlays from the crowd voices).

Great song
I rarely write reviews, but I really like this song.
I was showing the YouTube clip to my roommate and the first thing she said (about 30 seconds into the clip) was "Great music".
Not only cultural, but rich, vibrant, and real.
5 stars.

Garry Schyman...you are awesome...
Just like most, if not all of you, I have watch this video in the "Where the Hell is Matt?" video. And for some strange reason the video and this song struck a chord in me that I can't really explain.
If you don't understand the lyrics then here's a translation of the lyrics in English:
-------------------------------------------------------------
The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.
It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth
in numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.
It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.
I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
But even if you don't understand the lyrical language, the musical language is truly universal where emotions of the creator and vocalist of song could be expressed without any need for words.
Garry Schyman, I truly loved your work in "Bioshock", but this song truly is a step above and beyond that. Thank you...
Download this song you will not regret it!!
