This is Emmylou at her best. I am a great fan and I may be a little biased but I think she just gets better with each new album. This album reminds me of some of her early stuff and was glad to see some of the peaple on the album with her, especially "Billy Joe Shaver". They had a great "duet". I would recommend this album to any "country music" fan. 2008-07-24

Emmylou is fine....
Not only is Emmylou a great singer, she's an excellant songwriter...And that's quite evident on this CD... 2008-07-23
EmmyLou Harris in an unusual medicore way
A few numbers are wonderfully sung. For the most part, though, this is my least favorite of all her compliations. There simply is something lacking. Her voice is crisp and clear but the selections sound twangy and way to country hillbilly to be of note. 2008-07-23

Emmylou Harris's album, All I Intended to Be is finally one where she is putting her own words to song. You can tell her feelings that were involved just by listening to the tracks. A good buy for any Emmylou fan. 2008-07-22
