The Best of the Gipsy Kings

The only reason I give this 4 stars at all is due to the fact that very recently gypsy kings has a double disc best of which is more comprehensive and has some real gems missing on this disc. All the songs here are bona fide favorites and quite exceptional, but the two disc has favs like habla me and hotel california which make it quite worth the upgrade. Get this one if you must, but the double disc is much better.

I love this cd. I used to listen to this music when I was little living in spain,but after I left never heard the music again untill I went back 10 years later to visit Spain and heard the song in a club and I was like oh my goodness I used to listen to this song (bomboleo)ten years ago and I couldn't believe it was still so popular.Then a few years later I was with a friend she was listening to the cd and I was so shocked I had a flash back once again so I asked her who this was and borrowed her cd till I was able to get my own copy I also heard it at a resturant while I was living in Italy about a month ago.so they are quite popular and you can't help but feel the music thru your whole body it just makes you want to get up and dance even if you don't know flamenco you just can't stay still while listening to then.when ever I need something to get me motivated or get me in a good mood I just pop in their cd it is great when you are house cleaning you can sing dance and clean house all at the same time,or when you are at the gym working out it just makes you have so much energy.it is like the energy they put into their music goes straight into you.I really love this cd and you will not waste your money on buying it especially if you like flamenco or any music that is really up beat,I listen to many different types of music from country to r&b and everything in between and I have loved this group since the first time I heard them back in the 80's when I was a young child about 10 years old and 14 years later they are still playing strong and will contuine to for years to come

Envigorating music and charming melodies.
This album has been a source of joy for me during my free hours.
Highly recommended.

If you like to dance and want to be energized, you will love this CD. I have my favorites, but the entire CD is GREAT!

You cant stop humming and moving your feet. This is the music for every situation.
