Buena Vista Social Club

After watching the Buena Vista Social Club on Showtime, I loged on really fast and searched for this gem. This CD is great for all those old timer's that were in to the salsa scene back in the day, this CD is great and the companion DVD is even better.

This album is superb. If I could listen to this cd all day I would! If you enjoy this kind of music then I highly suggest you also purchase Angel Melendez and the 911 Mambo Orchestra's cd.It is absolutely superb.

The music and story behind the Buena Vista Social Club is fantastic. The cast of musicians and their stories take you back to Cuba we all want to visit.

This is a brilliant work, crafted around fantastically gifted musicians and great production. It's soul-moving music. Please buy it.

This CD is a true embodiment of what any music should be and feel like to listen to. I used the word feel, because when you listen to this music that is exactly what you are doing. Feeling it. The depth and intimacy of every track on this album is extraordinary, and what makes it even more worthwhile is that every artist on this album is they're playing their music because they love it. Not for monetary gains, or to produce a one hit wonder. This music is clearly in their souls; this music is quite clearly alive!
