The Eagles - Their Greatest Hits

There's a reason why this album has sold over 14 million, cause it is the best greatest hit album out there, still is, period. Every song on this album is a gem from Take It Easy all the way to Best of My Love. From ballads to straight out rock and roll, to R.B. to country, all elements are here. My all time favorite since the day it was concieved is One Of These Nights, all time favorite. Used to have this on vinyl and cassette, now I have it on CD, time to convert people, go out and get this greatest hit package, well worth it.

well really what can u say its the eagles!!! i mean yea i will admit at one time when i was 9 i didn't know who the eagles were until my dad bought this on tape at the time at wal-mart and i listened to it with him in the car when we went places together and i am so glad he did because he introuced me to not only so of the best rock ever but some of the best music i have ever heard in my life!!! this greatest album dosen't have a bad song on it anywhere and yes i will admit they did come out with a new 2 disc complete greatest hits but if you still haven't heard of the eagles and don't want to spend a lot on the 2 disc just yet get this to tide you over. but be advised that when u buy this cd it might not leave your cd player for at least a couple of weeks and trust me this is coming from someone who just flatout loves rock!!! i love it all from metallica, led zepplin, little richard, elvis, the beatles, rolling stones, black sabbath, motley crue, bob seger to one of my all time favs aerosmith. now if your looking for some real music and then try out any of those bands and definetly give this cd a shoot i gurantee u won't be dissapointed!!! This is the best, "best oF" ever released. It is the best selling album of all time with 27 million certified coppies sold acording to the RIAA (recording industry of america).

The DCC Gold blows away all the regular recordings (CD OR Vinyl). Don't know how they did it. I have pristine vinyl, perfect-shape CD and the DCC Gold Greatest Hits. No comparison: DCC is by far the best. (And I usually find vinyl better -- e.g. Rickie Lee Jones vinyl vs CD.) The Eagles Greatest Hits is great and this DCC CD has more nuance than you would ever expect from CD. Fullness and natural timbre too. Full, lush, nuanced and great tunes. You're lucky that this exists. Buy it now.

I purchased this CD a few months ago - remembering how much I had loved the Eagles during my middle/highschool years. It had been quite a few years since I heard more than the occassional Eagles song on the radio, and it was great to get a "larger dose" of this great "southern rock" band!

This is one of those CD's where every song is great! Plus, if you listened to the Eagles during your teen years, each song tends to bring up those awesome memories of youth!

Overall, I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who was, or is, and Eagles fan, as well as those who just like good "southern rock" - you can't go wrong with the Eagles!
