This is the best cd of all time. This is a great collection from Bob Marley. It really expresses his beleifs in peace and love. His music continues to touch peoples' lives even after his death. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone.

Reggae has captured the hearts of many people, especially when it came from Bob Marely. Marley is a giant similar to Elvis Presley: both continue to sell vast numbers of records long after their deaths, and both are clear leaders of their respective genres. This album is the most perfect selection possible. The running order is unbeatable, and unforgetable songs including Jamming, Is This Love, and No Woman No Cry. This album also includes 2 bonus track, Easy Shanking and Punky Reggae Party. If anyone puts in a cd at any time of the day, Legend will have to be your best choice.

The Chili Peppers had it right. Bob Marley might be more popular and influential now, over 20 years after his death. Like others have alluded to, have you ever met anyone who doesn't like Bob Marley? He is the only artist I know who is beloved by all, a tricky thing in the fickle music biz. Though "Songs of Freedom" is the ideal Marley, "Legend" is great for that one CD to take in your car. It is THE soundtrack to summer road trips, and the way I got into this in 1984 when it was first released. This CD might be the one CD that will someday pass the Eagles Greatest Hits as the best-selling CD in U.S. history. You can give yourself no better present than this!!

Once in a while an artist comes along to define his musical genre, but none have done it with so much grace as Bob Marley. His lyrics are full of intelligence and hope, his music joy and triumph; never have songs been so elegantly articulated. I'll spare you any further entreaty, just know that your life will be a mere shadow of what it could be without his music.
