Across The Universe

this product arrived in perfect time and the songs are wonderful! I love the movie and wanted to have the cd!

These 29 Beatles songs sound as fresh today as they did over forty years ago. Regardless of whether you saw (or liked) the movie, the renditions of the songs are done faithfully and with great care. Bono's version of 'I Am The Walrus" is an absolute gem of a tune. The Jim Sturgess version of 'Across the Universe' sounds incredible, as good as the original take on the 'Let it Be' album. Great 2CD collection.

I saw the movie and had to get the CD. I was happy it had the songs that were stuck in my head. I wanted the live version or club version of a couple of songs but, it's just the studio version. Great driving music for long trips and cool music for traffic. Gotta find happiness where you can in a commute.

This cd was great. Awesome price and in perfect condition. Came quickly, and I can't stop listening to it!

I was prepared for disappointment simply because Beatle covers usually are less than great. This film presented a smaltzy but fun story line, and the visual effects and music were terrific! Joe Cocker was an amazing character. The scenes of peace rallies and wild parties were caracitures, but what isn't these days. It was simply a lot of fun.
