Experience Hendrix: The Best Of Jimi Hendrix

One of my favorite songs is "All along the Watchtower", and i was disappointed that instead of being track 5, as listed, it was not on the CD at all. Overall the Cd is great, love everything they put on there. As a Jimi fan I would reccomend.

I can't say anything negative about this CD. Everything from the song selection to the remastering is great. One of the best features is the fact it was remastered by Eddie Kramer, the original sound engineer for Jimi, and the superb sound quality really shows. RIP Jimi.

this is such a good greatest hits complimation it has everything from purple haze to dolly dagger! all here baby if your our needing a few of those hits from jimi hendrixs albums go out and buy this so good the only other album i have is electric ladyland and i have some bootleg tapes this is probaly my favirote jimi hendrix album

This compilation is truly the "best" of Hendrix. In addition to the staples that everyone knows, the latter half of this collection reveals the new direction Jimi was heading in. "Freedom" and "Dolly Dagger" both especially stand out as not only straight ahead rock, but have a nice R & B feel to them. The arrangements of each song are well crafted, something many artists overlook. It's a shame that Jimi's life was cut so short. Who knows where he would have gone and how many more artists would have been influenced by him (think Stevie Ray Vaughn). This CD is an absolute must to anyone's library of "oldies". You will NOT be disappointed!
