Thunderstorm

Like it or not, wildlife happens to be around when thunderstorms occur. Then they typically go very silent, then soon after they reappear as if they never left. This recording capures that perfectly. Wildlife sounds aren't overwhelming, but they're definitely around.

The storms themselves are fantastic. Not as violent and sudden as what we're used to here in Missouri or what you might be used to around the Midwest, but a very nice recording that captures both good distant building and more immediate "local" claps. Worth the money.

I wanted to listen to a thunderstorm through its stages of development, but instead there is the wildlife that would probably not be there especially before a thunderstorm. Why did Dan Gibson do this? If he had actually set up his microphones and recorded a thunderstorm in the wilderness that is all you would hear, not some kind of virtual petting zoo.

I'm sitting here in my office w/ my PC harman/kardon speakers and this CD sounds so good the cats keep looking out the window to see if there's a storm!!! I love this stuff!!

The sounds were very convincing, I actually felt like I was there even my daughter thought it was really storming outside since I have a Subwoofer and was able to control the thunder intensity (all this was at night) the only thing missing was the strobe light to add to the lightnig effect. It does relax you and allows you to destress. There are other types of stress management cd's out there but if you like the outdoors and your'e not able to get away then this is what may work for you.

I have many cds of thunder lightning etc but have searched the web desperetly trying to find a dvd of lightning and thunder for relaxation purposes.
Has anyone out there found one. Iam sure it would be a big hit help! cheryl.
