Where it began...
I've seen all the reviews and i agree. Carlin kicks! I've been a big Carlin fan for 4 years, and I have everything of his from 1978-1999, so I was suprised when I heard this. Here, he's really calm, and extremly goofy. He made me want to get that Spike Jones record. And, I think everyone can relate to his material on the album. Brilliant work. YOU WIL ENJOY! 2001-05-01

After listening to new Carlin,very suprising!
This is a suprising album since the Carlin I know is always angry and yelling.This was made in the 1970's, and George had first started his stand-up performances around USA.A really calm album,but I can hear some of his anger on this album when he does the "Values" material.I loved the talk about being a comedian in school, and for new fans, The 7 Words is on this album.Maturity Level:15+ END 2001-01-15
Classic Carlin
Gorge Carlin is my favorite stand-up comic. I haven't heard the cd, but it looks exactly like the old Lp version, and i have that. Those of you who know the modern day Carlin, will be suprised to hear a peaceful carlin. He isn't as mad in this one. The funniest part is the seven words you cant say on television. Just remember it was made in the 70's, and gorge is calm, way calm! 2000-09-14
