I don't know where the love is
The Black Eyed Peas' "Where is the love?" is a half-hearted attempt at the social consciousness lyrics of John Lennon and the '60s. They sing about the awfulness of violence,of people dying,and repeatedly implore,"Where is the love?" One almost feels the urge to put on love beads and a Nehru jacket... but no. "Where is the love?" ends up being sappy and annoying. There's no love for this song. 2008-05-04
