The Silent Force

This album is epic and powerful, but at the same time hauntingly beautiful. Most songs begin with a peaceful prelude that elegantly fades into a wall of sound. Just when you think you might not be able to stand the force of it, you hear this mesmerizing voice that is both ethereal and intense. The more you listen, the more you begin to pick up the subtle fusion of music and voice. This is truly an epic and magnificent album.

I can't stop listening to this album. Within Temptation envelopes you in their landscapish ways with their music influences, and Sharon's voice. Please listen to this album and give it a chance. One shot is all it'll take for you the listener to become a fan.

I can't get enough of this CD or hear enough of this band. Within Temptation is an amazing band and I hope they will come to the USA one day to do concerts because I will be there! Beautiful music, hypnotizing...

The enchanting melodies of "The Silent Force" are amazing. Sharon den Adel's vocals blend effortlessly with the metal and create an awesome experience. If you are a symphonic metal fan, grab this CD.

So, I am a music researcher and collect songs, especially from the Scandinavian countries. There are few very albums out there that compare in consistency and brilliance with this one. It's raw, liquid emotions, put into a CD and packaged under "The Silent Force".

I would give a review of each song, but I feel like that is best discovered by oneself. I LOVE exploring music and never read what other's think about particular songs (I do read review like these though). So, I think you should discover the magic that is this CD by yourself : ) You shouldn't be disappointed, especially if you like orchestral, epic/goth rock.

I highly recommend this CD! I was not disappointed, and if I could speak for you, (which I sadly can't : () I would say you will like this album also.
