The Amazing Adventures of DJ Yoda

this album sounds like a dj mixtape for 9 year olds.. i think it sounds too cartoony... there were a couple of good songs on there but it just wasnt enough.. i'm a huge fan of hip hop but this album felt like it was a novelty cd made by a drunk guy who just discovered a turntable for the first time.. childrens humor + rap = the amazing adventures of dj yoda

I came across this album completely by coincidence. It's been awhile since I've listened to many DJ albums, and the latest DJ Shadow left me soured for, I thought, a long time. Fortunately this album doesn't disappoint. It's not just a producers album to be sure, The DJ part is readily apparent through all of the tracks. The short of it is, this a fun album that you can listen through straight through several times over. If you liked the Executioners, older DJ shadow, Kid Koala or the like then you'll enjoy this.
