Nickelback's "Savin' Me" has every musical cliche about redemption possible. Chad Kroeger successfully recycled the themes of this song when he later collaborated with Carlos Santana in "Into the Night." However, "Savin' Me" doesn't have cool electrifying Latin rock riffs. It's a bland,by-the-numbers song. It's turgid. If you want to be sonically saved, go somewhere else. 2008-03-28
