best guitar album ever...
if you would like to hear something different and you appreciate musicianship... buy this album right now. amazing spanish, folk guitar work is all over this album. even the covers of orion and stairway were good, and i don't really care for metallica a whole lot, but that was amazing. and they renewed my love of stairway to heaven. if you throw it in your car stereo, however, be ready to speed... be on the highway cuz this album will make you drive fast! another great aspect of this album is the booklet with it. i haven't gotten a chance to watch the dvd yet, but the included booklet has notes on all the tracks... how they met and how they wrote songs; it's a nice little companion to the music. anyhoo... if you appreciate fast-paced guitar and "worldly", folk music, buy now! it's a fun album. 2008-12-01

High Voltage!
Others have said it very well, but I just want to add my vote. This music radiates energy like lightening bolts. Melodic, varied, complex, and performed with incredible power and skill. Like all great music, you can listen to it again and again and discover something new. 2008-10-27

Fast paced and stunning
I first heard this pair on Mountain Stage. Their CD very clearly states that they do not play flaminco music, but that is the best way that I, a person uneducated in their genre of music, can describe it. It is a breathtaking, fast-paced music with amazing rhythm and single note guitar playing. I was captured from start to finish by this album. The duo came from Mexico but lives in Dublin. Their music draws inspiration from Mexico, England, Denmark as well as groups like Metallica and Led Zeplin. This is an amazing CD that you would do well to have in your collection. 2008-10-02
