Over The Rainbow/What A Wonderful World

I recently purchased this download and none of my expectations were meet. My first download from amazon.. not good...

Don't waste your time!!Forget this one!! You can't download it!! I tried to download the MP3 Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World by Isreal IZ but never had a chance to listen to it as it is apparently compressed by a codec unknown to Windows Media player and iTunes. I have downloaded many tunes and never had this problem before. I tried, unsuccessfully, many times to report the problem to Amazon.com - but could never enter an acceptable order number so their complaint bureau kept pushing back with errors. After a while - I gave up - 89 cents - it just isn't worth the time and trouble. I would have loved to hear the whole tune - but it is apparently just not possible on Amazon. Maybe another site can down load this one satisfactorily....

I downloaded this song, because I assumed (and I guess that's what I get for assuming, right?) that this was the song I'd heard on ER and Meet Joe Black, and it's NOT - Not even CLOSE. I was very very dissappointed. This is a horrible, version of the song. Very cheesy - in my opinion. Some might like it, but PREVIEW IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT!!

I am a big fan of IZ. I first downloaded the mp3 version on Amazon from album called "Petrol Presents..." It isn't the same version that IZ did in the movie soundtrack Fred Claus. I, too, like the version with IZ and his ukulele better. However, I love the other version, too. It worked perfectly for a slide show with music I created. Each version is unique in the way in which IZ sings the song. So now I have both versions in my iTunes and play them both frequently. I wish we could download other American songs by IZ on Amazon. The Hawaiian music is nice, but I can't identify with it because I don't know the language.

The original by IZ to solo ukulele is by far much better. Don't waste your time with this electronic version, the acoustic version is much better. I suggest trying to find his album "Facing Future" which has the much better version of the song along with some really great other music.
