Marvelous Day!

Steve is a fantastic musician who write music of the highest quality for kids. The songs are fun and educational. The music is ctachy without being annoying. All of the music is played by real instruments NOt electronics. I can't think of anything better to have kids listen to!

This is one of the best finds in children's music this year--the songs are creative, fun, and upbeat. It's hard to keep my 6 year old interested in kids' music (always pleading for Hannah Montana much to my resistance) but she just loves this CD.

I borrowed this from the library, and after listening to it one time, I went out and bought it for my daughters. My kids love SteveSongs and this special CD. The music is sweet, melodic, funny and poignant. I can listen to it over and over and I don't get sick of hearing it.

Who could be grouchy singing "This Day is Yours and Mine...It's a Marvelous Day!" And, my heart melts when he sings his sweet lullaby to Katie "You are my favorite little lullaby. As I watch you close your eyes and take your first breath of dream, all the troubles of this world fall away from me." That exactly what it feels like to watch a child you love sleep, and Steve captures it perfectly. My kids think "Fast Monkey" is hilarious and they love "The Beach Song". "The Water Cycle" helped my 6 year old learn about clouds at school, and I still hum "vegetables and fruit give me what my body needs" at lunch time!

Each song is one that is educational or silly or dance-inspiring. I will honestly be sad the day my children outgrow this CD. It's just fantastic.

My husband, my 2 boys (ages 2 and 4), and I love this CD. Thank you to my sister for introducing us to it. We received this CD a few weeks ago and it is the only CD in the car that we all can agree on and we all know the words to. The songs are fun, make us laugh, and hero makes me cry everytime. I only hope that we are lucky enough to catch SteveSongs sometime in concert...we are on the West Coast and he has no concerts planned near us at this time. I am buying 4 copies of this CD to give for birthday presents, teachers gifts, and for my friend and her family. This is a can't miss gift.
