Hallelujah (Album Version)

I'm not in the custom of writing random reviews for single songs, but I went looking for this song after I heard it in the Season 3 Finale of THE WEST WING, called POSSE COMITATOUS. The song is chilling and moving, especially within the context the show places it in.

It is a wonderful song. I lyrics are original and inspired, and the chorus will be in your head constantly. You'll be singing or humming it all day.
Great song. See the TV episode if you can; it's a winner too.

Cool song, its sad and yet still like listening to it when I am not feelinf sad

Too bad more people haven't heard this song. I'm still trying to figure out if Buckley was just a rock musician or a genius or even completely of this earth. Whatever he was, he took an already-great Cohen song and made it into (I think) one of the most deeply moving recordings of the last century. Buckley was a strange angel, and now he's gone.

What can you say? Listening to this just sends chills up and down my spine. Mellowing, stimulating, and intriguing. What more could you ask for. A great song and perhaps the best version. Sorry for the short review but this review is for the one song only. This song both soars and dips. Genius!
