Cecilio and Kapono take me back to the summer of '65, sandy beaches,warm sunshine, a beautiful, brown-eyed California girl and young love discovered for the first time. Fast forward to a concert in San Francisco, many years later with the same woman and those island rythmns that warm the heart and sends cool chills up and down my spine. Harmony that never grows old and always takes me back. Nothing compares and you don't have to be from Hawaii to appreciate THIS music.

I stumbled on to this [vinyl] album back in 1977 when I was stationed in Guam, and it's been one of my favorites ever since (so glad to finally have it on CD). The music is laid back, easy listening with love songs that are sure to touch your heart [especially "About You"]. Fantastic album--a must for your collection!

With roots from the islands i suggest local and visiting spirits to hear this CD i play it at work and my new friends here in Alaska....loves it... Old and new will enjoy the inspirational words to C & K.....Aloha........kuuipo
