Cowboy Songs Create a Mood
Michael Martin Murphey gives us a variety of ballads that range from frolicsome, to romantic, to heart-rending. We listen to this music on the way to therapeutic horseback riding. It is a great way to get in the cowboy frame of mind. 2008-08-31
Smooth collection.
Got this for my husband. He really enjoys this CD. Gives him a nice change of pace from the radio for his drive to and from work or when we travel. Has good renditions of old songs by the Son's of the Pioneers, as well as some "newer" songs like Wildfire. Like Murphy's smooth full voice. 2008-01-16
Cowboy Songs
I would have given this guy 5 stars if he hadn't knocked me out of my Red River gig many years ago. But anyway, these are classic cowboy tunes, tastfully redone. In a word--great.

This album has many classic cowboy songs which are superbly sung by MMMurphey, traditional but upbeat... not the GAutry & RRogers style... definitely singalong stuff.
My original disk had a play error and was promptly replaced by Amazon within days of notification. "Hats off" to customer service!

Pure Cowboy
I have loved this CD since its first release. It is Cowboy songs at their finest. I am purchasing another as a gift for someone who admired mine. Everything fits perfect, the voice, songs and players. Perfect. Just perfect. 2006-08-29
