Catchy from the go
This is my first encounter with Firewater and I downloaded the song just because it was being offered for free - but what a great song.
After listening to samples of other songs from the same CD, I bought the full album and I'm loving it.

Catchy
I wasn't familiar with this group, but the song is kinda catchy. It almost felt like it could have been from the soundtrack of a 30's jungle movie. Borneo reminds me of something Gogol Bordello might do. 2008-07-22
2008 song of the year
OK, I know not everyone likes the same things, but I'm having to suspend disbelief at the other reviews, which overall don't rate this song as anything special. What I hear, however, is just about the catchiest tune I've ever heard, along with lyrics that take a well-deserved swipe at a certain right-wing political party. I am having trouble imagining that I am going to hear a better song this year. 2008-07-05
