Albertine

I had never heard of this singer before, but saw her video on TV. I looked her up on the internet and decided to buy one album. It is good. She does have a very pure sound. I hope Brooke Fraser does more albums in the future.

To me, this is a great example of good music. Fraser has an ability to tranfer spiritual convictions into lyrics that have a depth beyond the language typically used by most of her contemporaries on the radio. I usually don't like one or two songs in a CD, but each of these have been skillfully done and carefully composed, and each of them are equally brilliant that this is possibly the only CD I've ever enjoyed completely. There is nothing shallow in her lyrics, nothing that can be considered cliche...not even the more romantically inclined "Love is Waiting." Plus, she has a really good singing voice, which is far more than what I can say than some of the things I've heard nowadays.

I had never heard of Brook Fraser but I listened to this C.D. off of Amazon and liked what I heard. Her voice reminded me of Sarah McLachlan. I like it because it is very calming and easy to listen to.

After listening to the first half of the album, I realized that Fraser is legitimate. The music reminds me of Sarah McLachlan, Nichole Nordeman, Jennifer Knapp, and others. One of the most impressive elements of Fraser's music is her serene, beautiful voice. The musical production is tight and the are thoughtful lyrics relate to her listeners.
It's exciting to think about what she is capable of doing in her career. Brooke Fraser comes from Hillsong, an internationally-recognized Christian worship from New Zealand. This is the first time I've heard of her. She has put out an impressive album, and she's only in her 20's.

Practically all the reviews on www.amazon.com are positive. She does an excellent job of combining beautiful music with Christian faith. This isn't always easy to do in CCM (Contemporary Christian Music).

Such an inspirational and gifted artist! An excellent CD, I'd like to find her first one and I'm looking forward to more from her. She's also with Hillsong United and they have AWESOME worship. I highly recommend this CD.
